I have Win2k and ME and want to change it so that ME boots automatically rather than 2k (2k is borked). Any thoughts on how?

edit the boot.ini

you have to have view hidden files + folders and view protected OS files enabled its in c:\

Slightly off topic - why ME ??? I'm not slagging it cause I ran it as my main OS until about 8 months ago. Most people I know who have used both have chosen 2k !!!

Like I say m8, just curious.

then went to XP ;)

but he did say 2k was borked

Yeah, my Vaio came with ME preinstalled and when I added 2K I discovered that the drivers on the Sony website don't work! Give some kind of error. Need to get rid of 2K actually but can't realy be bothered to think how!

If you're using multiple partitions (which if you're running two OSs you should always do), then use something like XOSL (http://www.xosl.org) - the best bootloader around bar none. :)
