What is Spam Proofer v 1.1? It is, surprisingly, a Perl script! Actually, it was written as a Perl script (using Perl/Tk to get a Windows GUI), but has been compiled using the Perl2Exe compiler to allow anyone to run it on their Windows 95 or later computer! What does it do? It "encodes" your email address into a string of "weird" characters that you can put in your web pages to keep spammers from collecting your address for their lists! The "weird" characters are generated by "entity-encoding" your address, and the best part is that visitors to your site will see your address in it's "real" format, they won't even know you hid it from spammers!
Thought it might be usefull for some people :)
