SPAM, is there a beginners guide....

Hi All,

I have just recieved my first unsolicited mail to my personal account (I am very careful about where my e-mail address goes, and it's Thus/Demon so they filter anyway.

Is there a guide to respond (it looks like this guy bought my address from a list that a shooting website provided him) so that I can get him taken down for unsolicited mail, i.e so he has to stop using the list?

Where do I complain?

http://www.spamcop.net is a good place to start your crusade, you just register, whack the boday and headers of the email into a text box and it'll make reports to the right places for you.

It's not a very good idea to reply to the email, since that only confirms that the email address is active and someone is receiving the spam.
